I’m on a lemon kick. My husband found a bag of lemons at the grocery store, on sale, and ever since I’ve been going lemon crazy! Who knew they were so affordable and so versatile!? =)
Here is a really delicious recipe that I know you’ll love for those hot days ahead! (Hey, it’s 54 degrees here, that’s a start!)
- 1 1/4 cup lemon juice (6-8 lemons)
- 4 cups water
- 2 cups ice cubes
- Organic Stevia (10-30 drops, or to taste)
To make with a blender:
Blend the lemon juice, water, ice cubes, and stevia until smooth. (Use the “ice crush” mode if you have one) Add additional water and/or stevia to your personal taste.
To make in the freezer:
Mix then pour the lemon juice, 6 cups water, and stevia into a glass pan, and freeze until solid. Scrape the frozen lemonade with a spoon until slushy. Add additional water and/or stevia to your personal taste.
