Transitional Outfit featuring Old Navy – #50States50Styles

Today I’m partnering with Old Navy to share a great transitional summer to fall outfit! Every state of America has their own unique style for this time of year and my #50States50Styles features my home state of Wisconsin. 

Wisconsin is known for “beer and brats,” being “America’s Dairyland,” but also for it’s gorgeous landscapes and four season weather. We truly experience all four seasons with very different temperatures. Heading into fall is my favorite time! The weather typically starts getting a bit chilly: scarves and boots are taken out of the closet for everyday use, pumpkin patches and corn mazes open to the public, and warm cider, chai tea, and pumpkin spice latte’s are a go-to!

With the weather changing from summer (this year we had a lot of 80 to 90 degree days) to fall (50s to 70s), the fashionista’s of Wisconsin need to be creative in stretching out their wardrobe’s to fit the current temperatures. For this outfit, I’ve paired a floral shift dress (so comfy, btw!) with some wine colored suede boots.

Here’s where you can start to get creative:

1. Is it colder outside?
   • Add a scarf!
   • and/or leggings!
   • and/or a cardigan sweater!
2. Is it warmer outside?
   • Pair the dress with sandals / heels instead of boots!

There are so many different outfits you put together with this dress! I love how it is also classic/versatile enough to be used in all four seasons!
