March Beauty Buys

Recently, I’ve been trying A TON of new and trendy beauty products and today I’m sharing my favorites with you!  This may seem like a lot of items, but this is about 1/4 of the products I tried. Crazy, I know! 😛 Here are some quick reviews on my favorite March Beauty Buys!

Kelly Teegarden Organics is such an amazing company! Kelly, herself, survived cancer and is now making wonderful organic products that don’t affect your endocrine system! This is such a huge plus for me. My favorite products in her line are called “Finally” (a deodorant that seriously works amazing!) and the “Naturally Hydrating Lipgloss” in the color: Sophia. The deodorant works so well, that after my Secret Clinical Strength is used up, this will be the only deodorant I buy! 

Quick Note: It took my body about 2 days to get used to the change in product. I felt a bit more sweaty than normal during those days. After the 2nd day and beyond, I’ve been more dry than I’ve EVER been and knowing that this is organic, makes me so happy that I’m helping and not hindering my body!

My face just recently switched from being winter-dry to my usual oily complexion. It’s still cold here, so I have no clue why it changed but I seriously prefer oily rather than dry! However, with this dry to oily change, I needed to change up my makeup as well. Make Up For Ever came to the rescue!

Step 1 – Skin Equalizer – Mattifying Primer is such a unique product! I’ve tried Smashbox primers, drugstore primers, extremely high-end primers, and this one takes the cake. I can actually feel it slightly “tighten” my face after I put it on. My skin stays oil free from morning until I take off my makeup at night. I couldn’t be more impressed! 

Ultra HD Foundation is also an amazing cosmetic choice! Granted, I need to use the mattifying primer with it or my face will be super oily within an hour… but when I use both together my face looks so smooth and HD ready! Add in some Ultra HD concealer to hide any blemishes or dark circles and you’ve got the perfect combo! 

The next three products came from my monthly Mimi Chatter subscription (read more here)! trèStiQue Matte Color & Shiny Balm Lip Crayon in Nammos Pink is one of my new favorite lip colors! There are two sides to this crayon, one is matte pink, the other is a very shiny light pink balm. I simply love being able to decide if I want a matte or shiny lip of the same color! 

As far as moisturizing goes, this Caudalie Vinosource Moisturizing Sorbet is lovely! It feels fresh and cool on your skin and you can completely feel and see the hydration after use! Along with this product, the TULA Probiotic Skin Care Exfoliating Treatment Mask is a great addition to the Sorbet. It gives a little extra oomph to your smooth skin! 

Last, but not least, are some of my favorites from derma-e. I was a little nervous to try these products after seeing “Charcoal” and “Marine Algae” in the ingredients. But it turns out, those ingredients really enhance the product! I’ve been using the Charcoal Mask about once a week and love how my face feels afterwards! It helps with any blackheads and any dry skin. My hubby even uses it for himself! After the mask is washed off, I follow up with the Purifying Youth Serum to bring back some additional moisture. We’ve seriously been loving these two products lately!
