  For the longest time, I curled my hair with a straight iron. Yes, you read that right! 😛 I never liked using a curling iron and after realizing you could curl your hair with a straightening tool, I was hooked. Then I found out that there were curling wands on the market that didn’t have the typical curling iron’s “clip” (that clip never worked for me). At the time, I didn’t want to invest in something expensive since I didn’t know if I’d be using it often enough. So, for the past few years, a cheap $15 curling wand was my go-to for curling my hair.   This T3 Whirl Trio set arrived at my doorstep with a base, a 1″ straight barrel, 1.25″-.75″ tapered barrel, a 1.5″ straight barrel, heat mat for your counter, glove, and travel bag.

• The 1″ straight barrel is great for (1) Uniform spiral curls, (2) Perfect mermaid waves, (3) Defined waves & curls.  
• The 1.25″-.75″ tapered barrel is great for (1) Beachy waves, (2) Textured waves & curls, (3) Loose tousled curls.
• The 1.5″ straight barrel is great for (1) Red carpet glam waves, (2) Full-bodied waves, (3) Volume with bend. 

Each wand attaches effortlessly to the base and locks in with one quick swipe. There are five heat settings for different hair types and styles and all heat up almost instantly on this convertible curling wand. I keep mine on the 3rd setting since my hair is fine and has a natural wave. 

Not only are white barrels beautiful, they are functional, as well! The Tourmaline material they are made out of emits negative ions when heated. While “negative” sounds bad, it’s not! This helps reduce frizz, static, and overall damage which is a major win in my book!

In addition, the SinglePass technology enables the tool to deliver consistent heat which means there is no need to redo any curls. They stay in place throughout the entire day!  I was amazed! 🙂 Speaking of the entire day, if you end up leaving your home and don’t remember if you left the tool on or not – don’t worry! It has an auto shut off in 1-hour. Talk about keeping your mind at ease! I’m sure this feature has already come in handy for me! 

  

  After consistently using these barrels for about a month (5 to 6 times per week), I can honestly say that they exceeded my expectations! I’ve been asked which barrel is my favorite and it’s really hard to choose! For everyday hair, I’ve been keeping the 1.5″ straight barrel on the base, since I can get away with fewer, larger curls for my quick morning routine. When the weekend comes around, I switch it up between all three barrels depending on the look I’d like to have that particular day/evening. I still can’t get over the fact that I have three unique curling wands in one!
