As many of you know, October is Breast Cancer Awareness month. And I’m sure many, if not all of us, know someone who has battled or is battling breast cancer. In my family, my grandmother battled breast cancer and lost her battle at a fairly young age. I was still in my teens when she passed and it was very hard to understand why such an amazing and loving person couldn’t stay here on the earth with us. Thankfully I know she’s in heaven and I’ll see her again one day!
More recently, my aunt successfully fought breast cancer and is now cancer-free!! =) And although we can celebrate now, I know from conversations with her that to say it was a rough time in life would be putting it lightly. My heart goes out to all the wonderful ladies struggling with the horrible battle.
This week, my motivation Monday quote is: “The strongest people are not the ones who show strength in front of us but those who win battles we know nothing about.”
Everyone is fighting their own battles, so we must remember to treat everyone with the kindness we’d like to be treated with. My challenge to you is to take some time to make a stranger/acquaintance/or loved one smile this week! =)
Happy Monday!

You & these quotes get me every time! Today’s isn’t the most well known but it is extremely important to remember that many people do things no one else knows about. Reminds me of the quote of treating everyone with kindness, because you don’t know what their struggle is or what they’re going through at any point! xx, adaatude.com
