Hello, lovely ladies! Today I have a very fun post for you about IT Cosmetics! I was honored to be one of the lucky makeup lovers to receive a HUGE IT Cosmetics haul from their fabulous PR team. Although I received these products about 2 months ago, I made sure I took my time so I could give a thorough and honest review for you (as always)!
This IT Cosmetics PR kit was themed: “Beauty Problems Solved.” Each box had a different beauty problem with products that should solve the said problem.
Are you excited, yet? Believe me, I am! So… let’s get started!
The first beauty problem was “Lines & Wrinkles.” Still being fairly young, this isn’t necessarily a beauty problem for me, yet. However, I’m all about smoothing blemishes and lines on my face! The foundation went on silky smooth and flawlessly covered my skin. I loved the medium coverage! However, about 2 hours later, I was shiny and oily (even after using a setting powder). Such a bummer. I really wanted to love this foundation – but my skin is still pretty hydrated (not a bad thing)! But don’t give up hope, yet! I gave my mom a bottle of her own to try and she absolutely LOVES it. It hydrates her skin and masks lines and wrinkles. She has been getting compliments on top of compliments about how great her skin looks! So… it seems like IT Cosmetics Bye Bye Lines Foundation DOES work! It just depends on what type of skin you have!
WOULD I RECOMMEND? YES! For those of you with mature or normal to dry skin who would like to smooth out your lines & wrinkles.
For those with oily skin, like me, I highly recommend the IT Cosmetics Your Skin But Better CC Cream as a foundation! I use it in Light or Medium depending on the time of year. It gives me flawless skin without the shine and it stays put all day!
Can I spoil the surprise? I LOVE the “Bye Bye Breakout” concept so much! And… it actually works!! Since my skin is prone to being oily, if I sleep on my pillowcase for a day longer than normal or if I get stressed, an ugly zit will pop up out of nowhere! Grrrr!! But… here’s the thing… dab some of IT Cosmetics Bye Bye Breakout Full-Coverage Treatment Concealer (and/or Powder) on that sucker and the entire blemish is gone within 2 days (at least for me)! Not to mention it’s immediately camouflaged after application! My husband is sometimes my “dabber” when I can’t reach the problem area (i.e. a gross back zit… ewwww!) and he’s even used the product on his own skin since he was impressed by the results on mine! A little goes a long way, but when I’m out… I’ll definitely be buying more!
WOULD I RECOMMEND? Concealer: Oh my goodness, YES! It’s the perfect mix of a drying lotion and concealer in one. I suggest always having this product on hand! // Powder: Maybe. It’s great to pair with the concealer, but the concealer works well on its own.
Not sure if I would call “Eyes & Lashes” a beauty problem, but we’ll go with it. The IT Cosmetics Superhero Elastic Stretch Mascara is the bees knees! Ever since I tried it about a year ago, I don’t go without it! It truly makes your lashes look like you are wearing falsies! (Just be careful you don’t put TOO much on or you will get clumps!) The IT Cosmetics Superhero Liner is a great product to pair with the mascara if you like liquid eyeliner. I’m more of a gel gal, so I’ll use this product for special occasions. Plus, I like my eyeliner a bit thicker, so I have to make a few more strokes with this liner than I’d like for everyday use. Nevertheless, both these products work well and stay put throughout the day! I also love their deep black pigmentation!
WOULD I RECOMMEND? Absolutely YES! to the mascara!! // As far as the liner goes, I’d recommend it for special occasions or if you like a thinner eyeliner.
Another beauty problem that I personally have is redness. After opening up this box and seeing “green,” I was super excited to try! These items didn’t disappoint! The IT Cosmetics Bye Bye Redness Skin Relief Treatment Moisturizer definitely soothes, neutralizes, and corrects redness. When I tried the IT Cosmetics Bye Bye Redness Redness Erasing Correcting Powder, I wasn’t as impressed. It was a bit too light for my taste since I prefer fuller coverage, but I’m sure it would work for someone who prefers a simple cover. On the other hand, the IT Cosmetics Bye Bye Redness Neutralizing Correcting Cream works wonders! For days where my skin decides to have extra redness, I apply this cream to the affected areas. It hydrates and conceals the redness immediately! It will definitely be kept on hand!
WOULD I RECOMMEND? Moisturizer: YES! // Correcting Powder: NO. // Correcting Cream: YES!
When it comes to my brows, I’m always putting a little something on them so they look a bit more full. So when I saw these products, I was curious to see how they would fit in my morning routine. Long story short, they did NOT. I tried the IT Cosmetics Brow Power Pomade and it was promising, taming my brows in one direction, but I personally don’t need it. Next, I tried the IT Cosmetics Brow Power Powder over it using the IT Cosmetics Heavenly Lux Brow Power Brow Brush and was very disappointed. I couldn’t get the correct amount of powder on the brush and when I did, it just caked on my eyebrows and made them look so terribly fake. It may very well be my lack of experience with brow powders, but I’ll still to my favorite IT Cosmetics Brow Power Universal Eyebrow Pencil that I use on a daily basis. It’s much easier to use!!
WOULD I RECOMMEND? NO. These new eyebrow products aren’t for me. But I love the Universal Eyebrow Pencil from IT Cosmetics that I currently use!
Everyone hates dull skin. And although I use mattifying makeup for my foundation since I’m pretty oily, I like to have some illumination on my face to spice things up a bit! lol. The IT Cosmetics Your Skin But Better CC+ Airbrush Perfecting Powder Illumination worked perfectly for adding that little extra radiance above my cheeks! One quick swipe on either side did the trick! After using the powder, I had high hopes for the IT Cosmetics Radiant Touch Magic Wand, but it wasn’t my preference. It took a while for the product to come out of the wand – I must have “clicked” the top about 50+ times. And then when it did come out, it came out in huge globs. Hesitantly putting it under my eyes, the product was overall very thin and super shiny. I won’t be using it again.
WOULD I RECOMMEND? Perfecting Powder Illumination: YES! // Radiant Touch Magic Wand: NO.
Pretty sure that a smooth face is almost everyone’s goal. So when I came to these Bye Bye Pores products, I was eager to see the results! The IT Cosmetics Bye Bye Pores Illuminator & IT Cosmetics Bye Bye Pores Blush in (Je Ne Sais Quoi) both work fantastic! These products are similar to the kit that I use every day that I also highly recommend: IT Cosmetics Je Ne Sais Quoi Complexion Perfection.
WOULD I RECOMMEND? Illuminator: YES! // Blush: YES!
The last beauty problem that I’ll be talking about today is dark circles. I can’t deny that these suckers often pop up when I’m tired and stressed from a long week. BUT… there is good news! IT Cosmetics has some great solutions for those less than great dark circles. The newest concealer product IT Cosmetics Bye Bye Under Eye Concealing Pot is amazing for mature skin. This is my mom’s new favorite! She’s thrilled that it doesn’t cake or settle in any wrinkles! Plus it lasts all day! To me, the product itself is great – but I much prefer the ease of use of the IT Cosmetics Bye Bye Under Eye Anti-Aging Concealer in the tube vs. the pot. In addition, if I’m feeling extra lazy or don’t have a lot of time to do my makeup, I grab my the IT Cosmetics Eyelift In A Tube, swipe on the concealer & brightener, and then I’m quickly on my way!
WOULD I RECOMMEND? Concealing Pot: YES! (if you like a firmer application) // Concealing Tube: YES! (if you like a more traditional application) // Eyelift In A Tube: YES!
Well… that’s it! Hope you enjoyed my review and have a few more products in mind to give a try!

Bye Bye Undereye is my absolute FAVOURITE concealer since I picked up a tube by the counters in Sephora last year. Can’t live without it now. Will have to give Bye Bye Blemish a try as well, as I must admit I’ve just been smudging Undereye on….well everywhere basically. It’s such a great brand and waterproof too! I love it!!!
